    Hi everyone,

I’m working with the Cisco VXC 2212 Zero Client which I believe is based on the Wyse Xenith. The zero clients are being tested for a medical imaging company, and we are seeing a performance issue when viewing images, such as x-rays in full screen mode. The images themselves appear fine on the screen, but if we try to scroll the image across the screen it becomes very jerky, and the screen even seems to freeze at times, then unfreezes when you stop scrolling. This is happening on a 19″ monitor running at 1440×900.

These are not very high resolution images, around 1024×768, ~380-400k so I’m wondering if there are any settings I can tweak to improve graphics performance? The desktop is Windows 7, and the backend in XenDesktop 5.5. Ignoring the fact this is a Cisco device, it is running WTOS and can be configured using all the standard .ini settings. Can anyone suggest the types of things I should be looking at to improve the quality of the experience for the users? I’m completely new to Citrix and zero clients so any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thank you.
