I am currently using the DCHP option tag and FTP to apply a configuration to some 1200LE terminals. When the FTP server is available all is well and they are automatically configured correctly.

My issue is when the FTP server is unavailable they revert back to the factory default or manual configuration. Is there a way to make the configuration via the WNOS.ini stick even after the WNOS.ini becomes unavailable.

    Hi Jay,

Yep thats the way, include this in the connect= statment.

Also you you should include the EnableLocal=1 as this will save settings such as time, local printers and more. Note the wallpaper and desktop is not saved.

The last setting is the Privilege=??? Lockdown=yes, this stops the lockdown coming off if the ftp server is not avaliable,

    Cheers,
    -TT
