    What do you mean by “randomly”?
    How often?
    Always all 8 sessions?
    Which firmware version?
    Have you ever configured any powerterm sessions on the clients?
    Are you using a wlx.ini?

    How often? At minimum Every other day, mostly daily
    Always all 8 sessions? All 8 sessions popped up at once.
    Which firmware version? 6.6.2 rev 13
    Have you ever configured any powerterm sessions on the clients? Yes, that is what we are using them for, hitting a linux box.
    Are you using a wlx.ini? No

    Just upgraded the PowerTerm client to the newest version (Ericom v8.2)

    We did a test run of a wlx.ini file, but didnt seem to do anything, added some code to it so it read :

    SIGNON=NO
    AUTOLOAD=2

    max_sessions = 1
    if { [get session-count] > $max_sessions } {
    message “There are too many sessions open.n Please close all open emulation windows.”
    session close
    activate-menu-item Exit
    return }

    remove-menu-item NewTerminalWindow

    Are we missing some info, it didnt seem to do anything at all, but I know the FTP is configured correctly because I was able to update PowerTerm.

    wlx is located in ..\ftprootwysewlx directory

    For testing wlx.ini I would recommend configuring something obvious like adding a FF or RDP connection. If this pops up on the desktop you are fine.
    But stricly follow the INI reference guide. The whole part starting with “max_sessions….” until the end cannot work as it is not known to Wyse Linux ini parser.
