I have tried all of these but still fail:
2.1
5.1.028_32
6.10At the begining of pxe, everything is fine. But it will stop with a message “Failure_Client_check…….”
By the way ,i already include the push.k into the folder.
Pls help me.thx
April 2, 2008 at 5:49 am #12435There is no 2.1 image for WTOS.
What tools do you use to reflash? What is the complete name of one of the image files? Does the unit boot without flashing? Why do you use PXE to reflash and not FTP?
Please give us more information. Without we cannot help you at all.CG

I use wyse siple imager doing pxe.
the image name are
6.1int_31.572_1s10-6.1.0_08-32.i2d
6.1i0_31.572m_1s10-6.1.0_07-32.i2d
5.1.028_32
2.1_32
this unit not boot without flash, it is the old one “991474 841786-01r”thx again,
April 3, 2008 at 6:20 am #12454It looks like you have a non-RoHS compliant unit. These old unit only had 2MB of flash and therefore an 32MB image will not fit.
What is the part number of the S10?

April 6, 2008 at 9:27 pm #12514Thanks for replying. I just wondering when doing imaging, does it check for the right hardware, eg: if I have an 64mb flash, can it load with the 32mb image ? ie: is it an upward compatible, a bigger capacity flash to load with smaller image, will it work ? if not , is there any other way to skip the checking ?
The S10 logic board part number is 841786-01R
April 7, 2008 at 5:58 am #12519Normally smaller images will be loaded in bigger flash but, of course, not the other way round.
The only checking that is done is regarding the OS and unit type, so that you do not load a WTOS image on a CE box, etc…I was not asking for the part number of the logic board but the part number of the unit itself. This can be found outside on the unit on the small label.

April 7, 2008 at 9:56 pm #12541unfortunately, customer alway send us the logic board only, so we have not got the unit sn.
but i think the s10 unit has three parts only. mem flash and l/b.and we already found lots of this sorts of problem. pls help us.
thx
