How do I configure the “Print Screen” key on an S10 to work within an RDP session the same as within windows, i.e. in windows ALT+Print Screen key copies the current window to the paste buffer.

I need take screen snapshots for documentation.

    Thanks

    Hi Moz,

If you right click on the desktop of the device there is a “copy to clipboard” option and you can past into the session.

Or do what I do, VNC the terminal and print the screen and cut it up with paint, very easy 😉

    Cheers,

    Thanks TT,

The copy to clipboard option worked OK, but this is for end users to take screen snapshots and I wanted something a bit easier.

Is there not a way of getting the “print screen” key to work?

I know that if you use Microsoft’s RDP to copy the current window it’s
    CTRL+ALT+MINUS(-)

    thanks again

Ahh, I see what you mean. I know the print screen works on an RDP session I have not tested Atl-Print Screen – but I will if I get a chance!

    Hi TT,

Have you had chance to test the print screen, I’m just keen to get it working

    Thanks

    Hi Moz,

I am overseas at the moment with no access to a client to test – I get back next week!

    Cheers,
