    Hey folks,

How do i ensure i’m using RTAV / RTME  (I’m assuming its the same thing?) for USB headset audio.

In a previous deployment the VDI Desktops were using Teradici Audio Drivers w/ Wyse P25.  The drivers have since been uninstalled as I’m about to implement the Wyse 3030LT.

    My config file is below:

Don’t use audio or video USB redirection.
This is exactly what RTAV (VMware) or RTME (Citrix) is doing.

I must be doing something wrong –

With those changes – I now see my USB Headset as well as VMware’s DevTap audio.

On the bright side, my voip calls can now ring on external speakers while the headset works for conferencing audio/mic.   However, the audio quality on the headset is absolutely terrible. The mic/audio recording is excellent.  Completely lost.

In an ideal scenario – i can have calls ring on speaker, use the usb headset for everything else.

In a less ideal scenario but equally acceptable – External Speakers don’t work – everything is on USB.

    Thoughts?

ThinOS does not support two or more audio devices. So ring and Voice will be on the same USB device.

And that is perfectly fine answer 🙂

What config do i need in place to make that happen? With your previous suggestions, I’ve now ended up with dual devices.
