I’m on a network that has been established for a while with several hundred Wyse terminals scattered around the city.

We’re having trouble pushing new packages to several of the clients using rapport, because the time and time zones are off by too much. I found a fix for the time and date itself, but if the timezone is off, then the time is off by that many hours.
Is it possible to remotely(and in mass) change the time zone to the proper one?
I’ve searched around in these forums and couldn’t find an article on it and i’ve been googling it for hours and only came up with a registry fix in the two locations of TimeZoneInformation, but that doesn’t seem to work anyway. Instantly or after a reboot.

If it makes any extra help, they’re V90 terminals, but it sounds like a software thing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

    Try the packages here:

    http://www.freewysemonkeys.com/site/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownloaddetails&lid=64&ttitle=XPe_Setup_Package_Examples.rar

There is an example on pushing time servers and zones, it should be easy to do. Post back if you are stuck still,

    Cheers,
    -TT
