We have two sites. Site A and Site B. Site A is home to all of our servers and currently all of the WYSE terminals pull from the FTP site just fine.
Site B is a remote location who had access to Terminal services, but they were pulling DHCP from their router. They are new to the FTP setup so we moved them over to the local DHCP router at site A and they are now pulling ip address’es without issues.
The only issue is that now that WYSE terminals are in a constant boot loop. They boot up and show the WYSE screen, but then they just go to a black screen with the cursor flashing before starting the process all over again.
I have all of the DHCP scope options configured under the new DHCP scope for site B, but it is as if they cannot pull from the FTP server.
All WYSE terminals are V10L’s.
Any thought?
Are you using WDM? Maybe with DDC?
Which firmware version?
Have you checked the FTP log if the V10 is trying to load a config at all?
