Hello all!
When reimaging my 9455 I get “firmware is not compatible”.
Checking the logs I find:
Evaluating:
‘stream/index/1/ide1-0/par1.raw’ to ‘stream/index/1/ide1-0/par1.raw’
0%………25%………50%………75%………100%
ERROR!…. Abnormal TERMINATION of ARCHIVE TRANSFER!
This happens everytime like clockwork and I followed all of Wyse’s instruction for the simple Imager 1.3.2.
Any ideas?
TIA
What image are you using?
CG
Custom Image
Thanks!
Sorry, I’ve missed your answer.
Does the custom image run on other 9455 units? Was it created on a 9455? How did you extract it? Have you created it yourself?
What firmware build is it based on?
CG
Sorry, let me answer your questions.
This image works on all 9455 units in the company (200+) and has no issue when using the WYSE imaging server, only when using WSI.
At this point WSI on windows 2000 Server works correctly but I get the error when using WSI on XP Pro machines.
I believe I may just give up on WSI on XPP as it is very touchy to keep running.
Thanks for the help.
Good idea. I would never recommend a workstation OS for a server task.
😉
