I have the v6 auto running a RDP connection on startup. The screen shows the users login for the TS just fine. After 2 mins the RDP connection is lost, I set the connection to reconnect after 5secs if it’s disconnected so this is fine. I’d like to figure out why it disconnects if it’s only showing the login screen in the RDP connection of the TS.

I’ve looked over the TS config settings and have it overriding user settings. I even made sure each user setting is set to defaults on whether to d/c from the TS.

    Hi,

What firmware is loaded on the device? Also what TS are you connection to?

    Cheers,

This is the normal behaviour of TS. It should be that same if you are using mstsc.exe on your PC.
There must be registry setting on the TS to overcome this.

I found this information on autodisconnect for TS.
    http://www.windowsnetworking.com/nt/registry/rtips178.shtml
But I looked at the reg key and its not there, is it safe to add it?

I is save to add but I doubt that this is the right key. As it states that the default value is 20 minutes, this clearly indicates that it couldn’t be your issue.

Anyone have any other ideas as to what I can look into on the server to see what is causing this 2 minute disconnect? There just has to be some setting in there that causes an idle unlogged in session to drop after so long…
