I just got my first shipment of the “new” S90 units after my order was delayed due to changes in the devices and now Rapport will not discover them. Also, they are now made in China instead of Mexico.
The device gets an IP address from DHCP and the Rapport Server setting (in Control Panel) even picks up the Rapport server and port number.
However, discovery will not see the unit. I have tried 2 so far.
Rapport will see our older S90s without any problem. I tried manually adding the device and rolling a package on boot but I keep getting connection errors.
Any ideas?
Hi,
If these devices have a -L at the end of the modle number you will need to put a hotfix on the Rapport server. Check out the hotfix under the download – Rapport – Hotfix section on this site,

That did the trick for the Rapport connection, but now I am experiencing problems pushing an image.
Getting an error: WISard-FAILURE-CLIENT_AND_ARCHIVE_TYPE_CHECK
Please ignore my last post.
I was told by Wyse that the S90 and S90L cannot share images so I will have to create the S90L image manually, then upload it to the server.
Thanks again for the assistance.
The S90L image should work for both the S90 and S90L (RoHS)
The older S90 image will not work for the new devices.
If you can keep 2 different images that’s fine too!
