I am wondering if I am missing something here.

We have just started using WDM (4.9.1).
Set up dhcp options 186 and 192 and clients are connecting

I have a image on one wes7 (build 830) with the latest HAgent (6.1.0.19) that is set up with some programs and software we use.

I then pull the image from this machine using “Get Device Image”.

    This is working great.

I then plug a “new” Wyse into the network and WDM discover it (build 833 with hagent 6.0.0.45)

I can excecute commands and reboot with no problems on the new device.

I then want to add my uploaded image to the new client and use package Distribution Wizard to deploy my image.

The image is downloaded and deployed to the thin client but when it boots up again it will not connect to the WDM.

I have figured out that the hagent service stops. Have tried to start it manually but it fails.

I find this strange since it is working on the computer that i pulled the image from…

I have done some digging and the Hagent on the client does not stop if it is on another network. Only when they are connected to networks that is able to communicate with the wdm.

Have used Network monitor on the server and as you can see the one not working is stopping after just 5 lines when the client is suppose to send something to the wdm server.

    NOT WORKING:

I have tried to pull/push the image with or without the fbwf filter enabled also.

    Is there something I’m missing?

The latest Hagent for WES7 is 6.1.025 and is included in the WDM 4.9.1 hotfix.
    Try that one.

    I have only workgroup license.

We have access to self service center because of our wnos (c10 and s10 license) but I can’t find the hotfix for wdm here…

Contact Wyse directly. Maybe they can send you the HF.

Thanks for quick response on this.

For now I have figured out that 6.1.0.14 is working.

But I will rise a question to Wyse as you suggested.
