We went though the PDF on this site regarding setting up printer policies in CitrixPS4 in order to have native drivers working on the Wyse 1000 series devices.
We can get assign a printer to a Wyse device if in the PS4 policy we say Assign to devices called WT* however a number of our Winterms are called Sitename-01 etc.. and we can never get this devices to get printers assigned to them. We have added there name in the same PS4 policy that we also have the WT* but they just don’t work.
In Rapport workgroup the devices show up there name as Sitename-01, any ideas?
The devices are auto configured with a WNOS file and then renamed in Rapport
So you say you have had it working when the name of the device was W*? Thats good if thats the case.
If this works you should be able to use sitename or whatever. This PDF is just one example how to do this. You can use computer name or ip address. Sounds like a issue with the name syntax in the policy
