    Hi All,

I am having an issue with poor graphics performance when using an VL10LE terminal – firmware 8.0_037. My VDI is a Windows 7 OS.

The graphics performance is very choppy. When moving a windows around the outline of the window stutters. If I maximise an application it quite visibly stutters. The mouse pointer also flickers when I move it around.

If I connect to the same VDI using a physical laptop the graphics performance is very good.

If I use the same Wyse terminal to connect to a VMware View VDI using RDP the performance is much better that the Citrix ICA VDI. I would have thought that the ICA should be superior to that of the RDP VDI.

Are there some specific setting on the VDI with regard to graphics drivers which need to be configured for the Wyse to behave acceptably?

    Thanks,

    Ben

    Hi Brazil,

Upgrade your firmware to 8.0_210 that will solve it.

I had exactly the same issue with 8.0_37

    Thanks guys.
I’ve got the latest version of the firmware now.
Performance is better on the V10LE’s than the V10L’s but doesn’t compare at all to the performance from a laptop or from an Embedded Windows 7 OS.

Havent got access to my ini file, but I’ve had it verified by Wyse Support that I am using the correct settings.
