Enam24. June 2007 at 7:00 #9780Hi Enum,
I have installed a slightly older Sierra Wireless card 580 and I set the RAM disk to 48MB and ran the installation – during the install I had to copy a few files across from the Windows directory on my notebook when prompted. Other than that it worked fine – this was on a V90 with the 396 image.
Whats the issue you are facing,
Cheers,
-TT24. June 2007 at 9:50 #9782Hi,
I alredy incresed the Ram Disk upto 59 MB before installation. When I inatall the Sierra Wirelss AC860 setup files at the end of installation it prompted me message that “Inset the Sierra Wirelss AC860 card and then finish” When I click on Finish button it gives an error that “Error installing the Sierra Wirelss AC860 card” It does not prompted me for additional dll’s files during the installation.
I tested it on V90 device Version: 3.04, Build: 503.
Do you remember when you were installing the Sierra Card which addational dll’s you used during installation.Regards,
Enam24. June 2007 at 12:17 #9783Unfortunately no I cant recall what the files were however I did not get this error. Try copying the drivers out of the installer into the Windowsinf and windowssystem32drivers folder before starting the installation. Sometimes XPe does not copy the driver files over and the installer may not be able to detect the card when inserted hence the failure,

PCMCIA Card works fine on V90 after adding the some new files. Just add these files bellow, there is no registry changes required. I tested it on V90, Ver. 3.04, Build 503.C:windowsINFmdmspcssp.inf
C:windowsINFmf.inf
C:windowssystem32driversmf.sys
C:windowssystem32driversnvtlg2k.sysRegards,
