    Dear all,
I’m new in this forum, maybe you can help me with a technical issue:

I have a Wyse S90, version 4.01 B.545 (the most recent one available on wyse.com). I can’t find a way to store the password in the RDP connection; so, whenever I switch off or reboot the terminal, I have to insert the password again.
I suppose it could be a problem in RDP 6.0 (currently running on my terminal), since this problem never occurred with the previous version (b496).

Thanks in advance for your help

    Hi,

You are correct the RDP6 client changed the way it behaves, check out this blog:

    http://blogs.msdn.com/ts/archive/2007/01/22/vista-remote-desktop-connection-authentication-faq.aspx

With some tweaking you should be able to save the credentials. Am I correct in saying you want to save the credentials so all users just get login in when they launch the session?

    Cheers,
    -TT

Hi TT and thank you very much.

Actually it’s only one single user that needs to save the credentials. And that’s because he needs to schedule automatic reboots, even remotely.

I’ve taken a look at your link and I’ll go on looking for a solution in those pages; in the meanwhile if you have any suggestion, they’re very very welcome.
