no sound with xdmcp connexion to ubuntu server

    As written in the title, I’ve installed a S50 wyse connected to an ubuntu server.

    I can open my gnome session, but I have no sound despite I’ve selected esd for sound driver.

    I have another thin client (HP 5515) which works perfectly and without any specific setup regarding the sound and esd driver.

    Could someone help me ?

    thanks a lot for your answer.

    As I understood, wyse linux doen’t include esd protocol.

    That’s a shame !

    I must throw this s50 away, and buy an HP thin client… 🙁
