I was just recently put in charge of a project to be able to hook a digital camera up to a S30. I was wondering if anyone has done this before.

As long as the camera does not need any special drivers and is mapped just a USB drive it should work right out of the box.
Just make sure Mass-storage addon is installed on CE.

Do you have the mass-storage addon installed? Check in Control Panel-Addons.
If not, download it from Wyse website and install it via FTP.
If yes, this camera will not work. You cannot install any drivers on your own.

Yep, that’s what you will face with cameras. Ones that appear as a USB disk may be fine but other that need the Windows Imaging and Acquisition layer (WIA) will only work on Windows XP with drivers

To be honest Microsoft’s support of peripherals is very spotty,

    Cheers,
