    Well i will try to keep it short this time. I have locked down our Wyse 1125/1150/S10 and V10L using the config tool and all is working fine and well.

    There is only 1 thing i just can figure out, when you change back to admin mode (using right mouse button the desktop) there is no option in the connect manager to enter a new connection 🙁

    Is this a normal behaviour for locking down terminals ?

    wnos.ini looks like this :

    AdminMode=yes Admin-Username=[hidden] Admin-Password=[hidden]
    Privilege=low HidePPP=yes HidePN=yes HideConnectionManager=no EnableNetworkTest=yes ShowDisplaySettings=yes EnableKeyboardMouseSettings=yes

    Hey you are right! I had to plug in a box to test.

    It looks like because new manual connections remain persistent until the next re-boot the admin mode does not let you create them as dropping out of admin mode would leave the new connection there.

    If you use PNagent you could use a admin.ini file to allow this. If you don’t I guess you are back to manually setting privilege=high temporally,

    Cheers,

    Hehe thanks for testing it.

    No we do not use pnagent, our terminals connects directly to our Citrix servers (load balance is handled by citrix itself). But i think i will add an RDP publish application (admin only) or what ever as privilege=high let’s you edit the current citrix connectings in the connect manager.
