Has anyone had any luck wth this type of a setup? I am trying to setup a NAS unit at the remote location, yet everytime i try to sync up, the sync fails, and due to the limitation imposed by the nas unit access I am unable to write to any particular folders. I am currently using version 4.51, but i am hoping to upgrade to 4.71 soon.
Please advise,
Sincerely,
Draco
Normally all you need is a FTP connection with read AND write permissons.
If this works, create a folder called “rapport” as the root folder for your WDM account, eg. ftprootrapport
CG
What I have been running into is that Rapport doesn’t allow you to specify folder location on the FTP device. It will point to the location which is specified by the end device. The nas units however doent allow you to access the main share, but only the shares that are specified by the nas unit software. Yet this causes an issue since if you can’t access the base system, then you can’t access the share appropriately. I hope my definition wasn’t too convoluted..
Any advise would be extremely helpful.
