Probably not the appropriate venue for this issue but I’ll give it a shot. We’re having a problem with Microsoft Project 2007 being displayed when using Wyse V10LE thin clients and VMware View. The gridlines do not show up and when one scrolls the text does not refresh and begins to overwrite itself, becoming a big unreadable mess. A screen shot of this visual spaghetti comes out fine. This problem happens with both the Project application and the Active-X web plug-in. The problem would seem to be with how the V10LE renders video because it does not happen when accessing the same VM over an RDP connection from a PC. Is anyone else running Microsoft Project in a similar environment and having or not having issues?

    V10LE WTOS 6.5.0_22
    Windows XP SP3
    Microsoft Project 2007
    VMware View 4.0.1

    Thanks

Ask Wyse Support for firmware 6.5.0.34 this should fix some display issue’s.

We got some similar problems in the past with the C10LE so give it a shot for the V10LE.

Thanks so much that was exactly it! I’ve been looking for a firmware download just to test update flashing but have been unable to download any because we don’t have a maintenance agreement yet. When I informed Wyse of the problem they gave me a link to download 6.5.0_40 which cleared the problem right up. I didn’t even think this thin client, manufactured in April 2010, would have such out of date firmware.

    Thanks again.
