    I am fairly new to the WTOS and the S10 terminal—so bear with me 🙂

    I am having an issue keeping the S10 powered off. From the “shutdown menu” I can power down the terminal and it will shut down as expected–but occasionally it will just power itself back on w/o my intervention.

    If I am connected to an RDP session, then hold the power button down for 5-6 secs.–it shuts down and stays powered off. In this scenario the S10 stays powered off until I hit the power button again. This is what I expect.

    However, when I do not have a RDP session connected and hold the power button down–it will shut off, but then it will randomly power itself back on again.

    I tried using the WNOS.ini entry:

    Autosignoff=yes shutdown=yes

    But this proves difficult as I have my RDP sessions set to “auto-connect on startup” thus making it hard to actually configure the terminal if needed. I really want to keep the auto-connect as it removes a step for my users.

    Am I missing something here? Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    Possibly the AC Auto Restart option in the BIOS?

    There is a possible new parameter that could help here.

    You can use negative values within the Reconnect parameter inside the RDP session description. This will only autoconnect the session if the unit was booted. It will not autoconnect if eg the autoconnect failed ot was aborted. This way you can use autoconnect/reconnect and autoshutdown in the same ini without negative interaction.

    Would this help?
