Have been using Rapport 4.4.1 imaging Wyse 941g without any issues. Just received a new batch of Wyse V90L and could not image them with 4.4.1. Setup server running Server 2000 sp4 and loaded 4.5.3 fresh. I can see the thinclients and even shadow them, but I can pull an image or dump an image. Everytime it looks like it will image, it comes up and says searching for interface and then it continues to a point and states: Launch Attempt 1
Launch Attempt 2
Launch Attempt (all the way up to 16) then it comes up and says ERROR.
30 seconds later, it reboots.
I am using the trial version right now until I can get the full version ordered.
I believe it is probably a simple fix, but my head hurts from banging it against the wall.
Thanks for the help…..19. August 2008 at 18:07 #13667
copy the content of the swrep folder from the installation directory to inetpubftprootrapport.
It looks like some files in the toolssa folder are missing.

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately I still can’t image. When the 941G boots, it picks up an IP, then it goes to the RAPPORT.EXE, it finds the Boot Server, it finds the TFTP interface, it finds the Hserver RTI_HPORT 80, and then it states Uploading 008#######, then in comes up with the Launch Attempt 1 008###### up to Launch Attempt 16, then it states: File Open ERROR for 008######## Unable to Continue, Reboot in 30 Seconds. Then it starts all over again.
Any ideas ?
Thanks again for the help.20. August 2008 at 14:39 #13678

Can you check your SW Repository settings (Configuration Manager-SW Rep) and verify if the repository is enter with IP? Do not use a WINS or DNS name here. Always IP.

These are the settings I have.
Name: MASTER (greyed out)
Transfer Type: File Transfer Program
Relative Path: /rapport
Session Timeout: 200
When I run the test connection, it comes back and says:
FTP Connection Test Successful
