Hi, I’m new to this site, so I hope I give the right information for help.

I have just received an out the box V90L with Citrix Program Neighbourhood 10.00.521 pre- installed. When I connect to our citrix servers and try to launch an application, I get the error message

” Your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded”

as it trys to re-install the ica client.

Has anyone else come across this.

    Cheers πŸ˜•

This is an issue with SP2. MS closed a lot of ActiveX ports.
Log in as an administrator and disable the WriteFilter. Then open regedit and changed the below parameters.
After that you have to do the same when logged in as an user (copy a link to regedit.exe on the users desktop to get access to regedit)

    HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionInternet SettingsZones1

Thanks for that – it partially works. However, it still tries to download files, but the error it returns now is:

IE was not able to open this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found.
