I am sooo close to imaging my 3125se, but not quite there.
I am using netxfer. I downloaded bios version 3.52 from wyse website.
renamed the f4439_wye4a.bin file to bootp.bin and placed it in the c:netxfer directory.
I am able to connect to the wyse terminal, but when I type in netxfer18.exe on the PC it says “reading file bootp.bin – abnormal termination of bootp.bin”
and on the thin client I see:
“tftp error 1 (file bootp.bin doesnt exist)
what am I doing wrong?
Shouldn’t that be in the root of your FTP server?
i’m not using ftp server, just installed the netxfer software on a windows xp laptop. connected the laptop to the thin client via crossover cable.
