    Hi,

If you are using signon=1 and logging in to the terminal you can use user ini files for different users. This would work if you autologin using the MAC address as the user name. The down side of this you have to maintain lots of ini files.

Newer Blazer 5 code will allow the setup of vendoor DHCP option tags so devices on the same subnet can go to different wnos.ini files.

A final choice is to Rapport enterprise to hand out the wnos.ini based on Rapport groupings.

The downloads section of this site has docs on these options,

    Regards,

The vendor DHCP option sounds interesting, we have just updated all the WT1200LE to the latest firmware. Do you have details on how to set this up?

Also does anyone know if you can PXE boot the WT1200 devices? We’ve been looking at using the open source Thinstation product for our old PCs and it would be good if we could use this on the Winterms to.

Actually I have not set it up, if anyone else has details it would be great to post!

With the 1200LE they are a non-PXE capable device so that rules them out for ThinStation, also there is not much RAM on them anyway. I have used PXES with 9455’s and 9650’s and it worked great. In fact check out the artical on old thin clients on this site for which modles this may work with.
