    Hi,

I published the Internet Explorer on the Citrix servers this way:

    “C:ProgrammeInternet Exploreriexplore.exe” “http://www.google.de”

When users start the published app they often get the message “runtime error” “Start the debug mode” that is not exactly the phrase…
What do I have to do to publish the Explorer and the internet connection right? Do I have to make some changes on the citrix servers?

I hope someone could help me.

    regards,
    Michael

    Hi,

You have published IE correctly. I would however recomend you disable script and runtime errors for all Citrix users. These options are under Tools – Options – Advanced and a bit of Googleing and you will find the reg keys to change.

Run-time errors are common in IE from plugins, do you have Google toolbar or other IE plugins? Try removing them and see if it helps. I have also found this to be an issue with a corrupt use profile, deleting the user profile solved it.

Good Luck, lots of information on this in Google,

    Cheers,
    -TT

I don’t have any further plugins than Flash or Java.

I tried to google for further information but that was not very successful.
Do you now if I can handle this with a group policy on my server so that I do not have to tell my users to work in the options of the IE?!

Here is an .ADM file you can use to control these settings:

    http://portal.loginconsultants.nl/forum/index.php?board=16;action=display;threadid=415

Does the error occur for all users or just one? Is it on all servers or only one? When its launched from the desktop or only when published?

    Hi,

the error occurs for alle users when IE is published. Local IE works fine so I think Citrix does not like my published IE.
I will try to use the ADM you posted and will post my experiences later.
    Thanks so far.

    Michael
