    Hi,

    I would like to install WDM on another server (new server). How do I move the clients from on server to another? The old and new server get the same IP address, but not the same name. I don’t want the clients to get the “Rapport Configuration Manager – Update request”.

    How do I move the Images which I created to the new server?

    Hi Peter,

    what units are you using? XPe based units will get this Update request dialog.
    Packages can be moved via file copy from ftproot/rapport of the old server to the new one in a temp directory (only copy the needed folders as Wyse installs some defaults that should not be overwritten with old files).
    After that you have to create the needed scripts, save them and imports the packages to the new server.
    Do this by right-clicking the package on the old server and select “view package script”. Mark everything, copy and paste it in a notepad text file. Save it with the name of the package in your temp folder (not the subfolder of the package itself). Now you can import it again.

    Here is a DOS batch file one of the guys in this forum created once to automate this with CE addons.
    Maybe you can use it as a base and make your modifications to it.

    @Echo Off
    Cls

    Yes, and a reboot 🙁 Isn’t possible to move V90 and V90L XPE clients to another server without the message and reboot?

    Do you have WDM Enterprise or Workgroup? IF you have enterprise you could try syncing the security certificates,

    Cheers,
