You will have to use ACROBAT-5.0.10-3.2.pak Addon, it works on V50 and S50 on Local Firefox Browser. I also tasted one or more ACROBAT Addons for Wyse Linux v6 but it was not working with the Local Firefox Browser.

I tested ACROBAT-7.0.0-3.3.pak and it worked for me, what you may need to do to fix it is make an association in FireFox to the application. It should be possible to create a script to fix the devices in the field. Can you test doing this manually on a terminal and see if it fixes it?

The problem has resolved a bit, means PDF files open if they are present on the websites, but if the PDF are present or coming in the form of attachements then no way to open the PDF.
Is there any solution.

When you say an attachment – what application is this in? I assume its not web based. There is a symbolic link missing some place and if we track this down all should be well.
I tested this on a few different firmware versions and it looks OK. What firmware are you on?

There is quite a bit on fixing this on the net but it should work with standard firmware.10. March 2007 at 4:51 #9207
I am using Version 6.3.0 and Build 36. I am reading my mails from gmail account and loading emails in the local firefox browser of Thin Client. When I am going to any of the website and if there is a pdf files then they open really fine, but in the other case if am checking my mails from any of the e-mail side like yahoo, hotmail then when I click the pdf attachement then the browser says download the file or open file with … what should I do at this moment.
I am struck.

What you descried is the correct behavior of FireFox, it asks you what to do with files on the Internet. It does this for security reasons, simply select open with and find acrobat. Select the always use this as default and that’s it. You can pull this image and use it as the default image for the rest for your clients.
I use 6.3.1 build 21 and it woks well…
