Hi All
I would like to know if there is a way of getting HyperTerminal from windows XP for XPE so i can telnet into my telephone system. If this isn’t possible is there any third party Hyperterminal programs i can use to do this.
Thanks all help is appreciated
akp
Have you tried to copy the files from XP to XPe?
CG
Hi,
Simply copy the files hypertrm.exe, htrn_jis.dll and dialer.exe from C:Program FilesWindows NT and hypertrm.dll from C:WINDOWSSystem 32 on a XP PC to the terminal.
Other option is to copy telnet.exe from the PC and use the command line telnet.
As a final one the Ericom Terminal Emulation included on all Wyse images has Telnet as well so you may not even need to use the above files,
Cheers,
-TT
