I recently installed WDM 5.0 on a new 2012 R2 server and redirected the scope tags to send requests to this new server. In the devices(D10D and C10LEs) event screens I see the error “WDM Agent open <ip address of new WDM>:20480 failed”. It does find the new FTP site. On the new WDM server, the HInitServer.dll is in a stopped state. It is set to start automatically. When I start it and try to discover devices, it stops again.
I can not see any devices in the WDM 5.0 management console.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Kevin
Looks like the option tag 190 or 192 isn’t defined correctly as it is shown as “20480”.
Check this.
