EnamJanuary 3, 2009 at 5:18 pm #14773Hi,
the 1006 is currently not working on WTOS. You would have to request this by Wyse.
Only 1000, 1005, 1018 and 1020 are working.CG

EnamJanuary 4, 2009 at 2:30 pm #14776Use ConfGen-Printer tab and mark the checkbox for 1xxx series HP printers.

January 4, 2009 at 2:35 pm #14778Hi,
Without WNOS configuration can I configure the printer.
Regards,
EnamJanuary 4, 2009 at 2:40 pm #14779if you check this box ConfGen will create an additional folder called “printer_fw” for you. In this folder you will find some HP firmware files that are needed by you printers. Just try it and check the bubblehelp inside ConfGen for this checkbox.
HP 1xxx series printers are low cost, firmware-less printers that need to get the firmware from the host OS.

Copy “sihp1005.dl” file form “confgen” directory to “printer_fw” directory.WNOS.INI Parameters.
AutoLoad=1
SignOn=0
FileServer=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
RootPath=/wyse
Privilege=High
PrinterMap=sihp1005.dl
Printer=LPT1 Name=”hp1005″ PrinterID=”HP LaserJet P1005″ Enabled=yes EnableLPD=yes
CONNECT=RDP Host=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Description=”Remote” AutoConnect=0 Colors=true Fullscreen=yes Domainname=NCOMPUTING
