HP 1022n goes offline when job is sent to it.

    I have 3 1200s with 5.2.039 firmware. I recently put in a HP 1022N. I can map the printer no problem, but when I try to print the printer goes offline. I found that the printer does not support LPR printing. I have never set up SMB so I do not know if that will fix this or not. I did a search first but didn’t find exactly what I was looking for.

    SMB printing means to create the needed port on a Windows server and then share this printer via Windows. Now you can map to the printer using the UNC path. eg \myservermyprinter
