I have successfully set up a V10L box, fetching wnos.ini ftp from an XP machine on the same network. Thanks so much.

I know this next question runs counter-intuitive to the whole concept, but please understand that I will need to do this for reasons I can’t get into.

Once I get the wnos.ini on the machine and configured like I want, I want to be able to turn off the ftp connection. It would be nice if the V10L would first attempt ftp and then, if that is not available, default to a wnos.ini that is already on the machine. This must be configurable in WDM, correct? The DEFAULT CONFIGURATION is not available in Workgroup Edition of WDM and I am not sure if this is what I need or not.

There is no way to store the entire wnos.ini file locally but you can store most of it.
There are two parameters available to do this:
EnableLocal=yes stores most global parameters like Privilege etc.
LocalCopy=yes works inside each connection description and stores the entire connection locally.
