I am testing a deployment of a V30 on our production floor via a wireless PCMCIA card, but I have strong concerns about people stealing the card (anything not locked down in our facility is likely to be stolen). Has anyone else encountered this issue I would be please to hear about your solutions.
I did see someone make a small wire cage to hold these cards in, I have no idea where these were made. If its a small deployment what about using the V30L’s with the internal wireless card? Would solve the problem,
We are using the V30 devices with the Cisco PCcard and had the same concerns. Wyse actually has a small metal wire cage if you will that can screw on the the wyse device and stop someone from easliy stealing the card. We have had issues with people taking the cards and recommend taking the steps to prevent this. I spoke with our Wyse rep and he provided me with the part for testing.
