    I tried:
Got into bios boot sequence and simply moved Hard Disk to 1st spot, LAN to 2nd spot and disabled 3rd spot.

This did not work. At boot it sees the USB Drive as not bootable and fails to proceed.

I need this unit to start up with a USB drive in it but not try to boot from it. I want the extra storage for data bases and file storage space.

How do I set this up to ignore a USB Drive on bootup?

This is because on the V90 the USB drive is recognized as a HDD.
Plug it in after the BIOS initialisation.

??? I am sorry but I am not installing any Bios. Bios is fine. Operating system is fine. Unit runs great but I have to unplug the USB drive while it boots and replug as windows starts up.

Are you saying that I am stuck with it the way it is?

Try Changing HDD boot priority set to Internal flash on first , And USB Flash drive to second. From bios.
