We have some devices we would like to try and reset before sending back to WYSE. I’m just not sure how to go about resetting the device. Any assistance would be appreciated.

When you shutdown the unit, you can select a checkbox “Reset unit to system factory default”.

    That will do the trick.

I also have some, that on boot up, display the Intel UNDI PXE-2.1 screen/Client MAC Address screen with the spinning bar as if it’s looking for an IP address. After that screen sits for some time I get an error: “PXE-E53: No boot filename received” and also I get “PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM”. After these errors clear the screen it goes to what looks like the blue WYSE desktop but it’s blank with no functions available. I wasn’t sure if some kind of hard boot was necessary to remedy this.

This is a simple PXE request. You can easily modify the boot order to directly boot from flash instead of PXE (LAN) first.

Thanks for the reply but how do I change the boot order on the device? I don’t see anything come up to direct me to press any particular key combination to access any other options. When the device is turned on it goes right into a PXE boot.

Press the delete button/key on system boot (or repeatedly pressing the delete key) to get into the system bios (password = Fireport) and see if you can change it over there.
