I have recently re-installed WDM 4.7 as it has been moved to another box, I had a probleminstalling it firts time round and recieved an error saying SWREP could not be copied. I tried the install a second time and this worked fine – no errors at all.

I have got into WDM but it will not work, I am unable to create an image so of course I can’t push out an image, I have installed and reinstalled IIS and everything seems to be up and running. I’m now at a complete loss I have no idea what to try next, I’ve only been using WDM for a short while so any help would be great!!

You can find a troubleshooting guide on my website for WDM.
    Check this out first.

Thanks for the reply, I have tested to see if HServer is running by entering http://localhost/hserver.dll?&v99 into web browser and I get the folloing response back not the Time Stamp

    &ER|Invalid Request

    What does this mean??

That means that your webserver is not running correctly. Could be an issue with DES. Check if DES (Data Execution Prevention) is configured correctly.

Thanks for the reply, how should DES be configured?

I have got a bit further than my original post, I have now been able to take an image but I still can’t push an image out, nothing happens if I set it to image ‘now’ and if I select on next boot it just keeps trying but nothing happens.

    Thanks again.

Right click on “My Computer”-Properties – Advanced – Performance – Data Execution Prevention.

Sorry CG I wasn’t very clear in the last reply, I know how to get to DEP but not sure what it should be set to? It’s currently set to ‘Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only’ is this correct?

    Thanks again
