Hi. I’ve never had this much trouble with a wyse and I’m about to pull my hair out. I am not sure if this uses the winCE OS so I’m sorry if this is the wrong forum. My problem is I cannot access the Administrator mode. I’ve tried holding down shift, ctrl F4, but I never get a login screen. The terminal boots directly into the desktop(Desktop button where the Start button normally is) and I cannot find a way to get the login screen. I’ve looked in the BIOS but have failed. 😥

I believe the V10L runs Wyse Thin OS (WTOS). Which login are you trying to get to?

Here is a link to the documentation for that thin client. I’m sorry I couldn’t answer more questions for you, but I’m not very familiar with that model.

It looks like it should boot to the desktop if it’s not configured for VDI, FTP, or PNLite.

    Hi TNM,

The V10L is a completely different OS to CE hence the reason you can not “log in” as if its at factory defaults it goes to a desktop with full access.

As Joe suggested you will need to do some reading here, check out the admin guide and also there is a PDF on the front of this site at the moment on how to deploy WTOS.

Its work taking to time to get the hang of this OS as its really fast,

    Cheers,
    -TT
