I have a bunch of V90L’s that I just rolled out. The testing phase went fine, but today three of them froze and had to be hard booted. The terminals

Some notes, all have the following:
    Ver. 4.05 (Build 0576.512)
    XPE Ver. 5.01 SP2
    800 MHz
    Flash 488 MB
    RAM 240 MB
    Cisco Desktop Agent
Citrix Program Neighborhood Version 7.00.17534 (older version because I couldn’t fit newer), with published application

All three froze with the Cisco and Citrix and IE running (don’t know which web-sites they went to [history is set to 0 days].

I am also seeing another error that is probably unrelated, going into Control Panel you get the following error:

“The ODBC resource DLL (c:windowssystem32odbcint.dll) is a different version than the ODBC setup DLL (c:windowssystem32odbccp32.dll). You need to install the ODBC components to enure proper operation”

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Owch, you have some build issues here…

    First if you mention:

Citrix Program Neighborhood Version 7.00.17534 (older version because I couldn’t fit newer)

The 576 image you used comes pre-loaded with the ICA 10x client, downgrading this is a really bad idea. I would simply upgrade the client to the latest 10.15 version and add the PNagent if you need this componant. There is more than enough space to fit it on the image although you may need the RAM drive increased during installation.

For the Cisco phone try installing this component before installing the Cisco agent:

And that should get you off and running,

    Cheers,

actually i had that wrong…the step back to citrix was because these machines do not have 2 displays and focus kept leaving citrix published application and i couldn’t find a way to stop that with out going back to an older version.

    Ahh, OK.

This is a Citrix Issue and there have been a few hotfixes for this. What Presentation Server version are you using? I would try resolve this server side. Also the latest ICA 10.15 client has a few seamless window fixes so check this out,

    Cheers,
