    Hello,

i got an error message when i want to launch any app with XenApp: Exec “ica”: No such file or directory.

My thin client is a C10LE
My firmware was in 8.0.510, i upgrade to 8.3.014. Unfortunately, i read your note to upgrade in 2 times to late.

I upgraded others thin clients (c10le and t10) from 8.0.512 to 8.3.014 and it work.

So, what can i do to resolve this issue? I tried to reset to factory default but it didn’t work.

The package was installed. I deleted it and reboot the system.
    Now everything works fine!

    Thank you very much.

    Hi guys,

I just found a C10LE terminal in my environment with the same issue as above: Exec “ica”: No such file or directory. Firmware version is 8.3_014 and I cannot downgrade it to any earlier version – it is not picking up the firmware file(s).

I was trying to follow the above advice and delete “base.i386.pkg” package, however, System Tool->Packages tab is missing on my device.

How can I get into the Packages and delete “base.i386.pkg”?:)

    Thanks!

Find out why it isn’t downgrading. Maybe Autoload=2 in your wnos.ini instead of =1?
    Then downgrade and upgrade again.
The base package is the culprit here. This has to be installed correctly which should happen automatically after the first boot after upgrading.

    Thanks Thomas.

I cannot force this TC to upgrade or downgrade unfortunately.

PS. By the way, thanks again for all your help on this site and for the Config Generator. You support here is priceless. Unfortunately, Wyse&Dell is same like Citrix where users have to support each other as the companies fail to deliver a good support for their products.

    David,

check your ftp server log. Do you see any attempts from the client to check for the firmware file? Any hints?

Glad this site and my tools are helpful. Spread this news and don’t forget to use the Paypal button 🙂
