    We’re getting this error on one of our S50 terminals about 2-3 times daily.

    The terminal is connected via a fiberlink to a site with about 5 others, we’ve swapped out terminals, cat5 lines, and the error persists for this one station.

    Error Message: “Network is down. Do you want to restart?”

    6.3.2-52 is the version, we’re on WDM version 4.5.1 with 70 Stations total.

    Hi,

    If its just one device out of 70 and you have swapped it to a different location known to work maybe there is a hardware fault with the NIC? Could be worth send it to a Wyse repair center,

    I installed a second terminal for the user at another location, she still get’s the error. I’ll be turfing her profile on the terminal server and see if that helps.

    I’ve tested the cat5, nic, etc. The bothersome issue is a pc with rdp running works fine. As soon as we switch back to a s50 and start running barcodes with it it dies, sometimes within a class of scanning in/out, or it can run several periods without a fault.
