    Good Afternoon

    I was hoping somebody can help me. Some of our users are using dual screens, some of them are using 15″ monitors (1024×768) and some are using 17″ monitors (1280×1024). I have set our INI file to DDC for both displays but the users with 17″ monitors have a problem where by the 2nd display only displays at 1024×768 so all their windows are massive and their main display shows correct 1280×1024. I can fix the issue by setting the resolution within the INI file but then the users with 15″ screens can’t display the higher resolution.

    I have manual override enabled but when I change the resolution locally on the device it reboots and then picks the setting back up from the INI file.

    Here is the display section of my INI file

    ; If you are using a version of WTOS code < 7.0.1_13 please use:
    ; Resolution=DDC Refresh=
    Screen=1 Resolution=DDC
    Screen=2 Resolution=DDC Refresh=60 Rotate=None
    Dualhead=yes ManualOverride=yes Mainscreen=1

    Can I use to INI files, if so how do I configure this?

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Why do you set the resolution in the ini at all? DDC is the default. So not setting it explicity in the ini file should fix your issue.
    This is what I always recommend to my customers.

    I have changed the setting to be blank which results in the below the problem still occurs.

    Each time i manually change the resolution in admin mode on the device it reboots and then reverts back.

    Please help

    Of course, as I wrote above, you have to remove the resolution parameter completely.
    So only
    Dualhead=yes ManualOverride=yes
    should be in there.
