I’m currectly having an issue with dual monitor setup on V10L. I have two Hp LE19F both have dvi and vga connection which are connected with the dvi and vga splitter used on the wyse terminals. The issue that I’m having is the monitor that is connected to the dvi connection is not as brite, sharpe, and not as clear as the one connected to the vga connector. I have swap connection, adapter, and v10L. I have swap with differant type of monitor but the issue is still the same. Has anyone had this issue and is there a fix?

Do you have the same issue when you connect just the DVI monitor directly (alone) to the V10L or only when using the splitter cable?
Are you using the original Wyse splitter cable?

I have this same issue, my thin client is the C10LE. We are using the DVI to dual-VGA splitter with model number DV20. Our monitors are Dell 17″. No matter what I do the VGA-1 output is always a little dim and fuzzy.

And what about connecting the same monitors to some other PC with dual-DVI output? There’s some difference in monitor input processing via VGA and DVI if the situation remains the same. Try different Y-cable. What are results?

I have since tried old CRT monitors and the difference is not as apparent, but it’s there. I can swap the inputs and the one that is connected to the VGA-1 output is always the monitor that is less clear. Wyse evidently does not support or has a way other than using the DV20 unit to go from a single DVI output to dual VGA. Other splitters go from a DVI out to DVI and VGA.

Stop. What is correct for you now? VGA is less clear (last post) or the dvi connection is not as brite, sharpe, and not as clear as the one connected to the vga connector (first post)?

VGA will never be as good as DVI as it is an analog signal. That is by design.

I know it can be confusing. Let me start over.

I have a C10LE. It has a single DVI out. I am using the DVI to dual VGA splitter, model DV20. Below is the link.

From the DV20, VGA-1 is always fuzzy and a little less vibrant. I have tested three sets of monitors now and the lower quality always follows the VGA-1 port. The VGA-2 port is perfect.
