Hi everyone,
After pushing images to the S90 thin clients, now i was tasked to convert them to S10. I have already prepared the server i’ll used to alter the WTOS of the thin clients and have already started converting actually. I was able to convert some thin clients but there were these thin clients that are giving me headache.
The succesfully imaged thin clients were those with part no. 902099-xxx and those that were not, bears this kind of part no. 902115-xxL.
The actual problem i have is actually about the mouse and keyboard. Documentation says that “No keyboard and mouse found” is actually just something i could ignore. This worked with the 902099 thin clients because i can really move the mouse pointer. However, 902115 thin client just can’t work. I also found in another document that i just have to create a wnos.ini file containing autoload=2; signon=0 to answer issues regarding compliance. But still, the problem occurs. Seems like the mouse hanged.
Can anyone help?
Hi,
How are you converting them, with the PXE boot image? The units with the issue will need a newer image and newer RCA_mfg image than the ones you have. I assume you got the conversion kit from Wyse so contact them for the more recent RoHS boot code,
Cheers,
-TT
