We have Xenith 2’s running the 104 firmware and Xendesktop 5.6.
(I’m downloading v105 now)
One of the attached devices is a Olympus dictation device. It works fine with force redirect and auto-launches the dictation application as expected when plugged in.
The dictation devices sit in a USB cradle. When the user unplugs the device from the cradle, it appears to lock the session. Looking in the logs I have discovered that it is actually disconneting the USB keyboard connection (and the PS2 mouse is plugged into the keyboard). The only way to fix is to either pull the keyboard USB connection out and plug it back in or reboot the Xenith 2.
Both are extremely inconvenient for the end user.
There are no such problems on the handful of fat clients in the office.Has anyone come across similar problems or have any suggestions? Looking through the release notes there doesn’t appear to be any references to similar problems, but I will update today anyway.
Any help much appreciated!November 22, 2013 at 8:16 am #24416Can you post your xen.ini?

November 22, 2013 at 5:04 pm #24423Where is the Xen part of the INI?
SignOn=no??
Thought you are authenticating against XD?CG
November 26, 2013 at 9:40 am #24425Sorry, not sure I understand- I’m using the xen.ini straight from the confgen and that is working fine. The user signs in through the wyse login and that authenticates against AD and signs them into their WIN7 desktop.
November 28, 2013 at 7:48 am #24430So you have entered the XenDesktop URL locally on the clients?
