I have a user who has a WYSE Xenith Cx0 terminal, and connects to his dedicated XenDesktop 5 desktop. Very often his mouse pinter disappears from the screen. Could this be to do with the WYSE terminal?

BTW, when updating the firmware on a WYSE Xenith, does this upgrade the underlying Citrix client? And if so, is there a matrix anywhere of firmware-to-client_version?

    Thanks

    Which firmware are you running?

    1.5_007.

How do I upgrade to 1.7 using the WDM?

And aside from f/w upgrades, is this a known issue?

It isn’t a known issue to me but I would recommend a fw upgrade.
Unfortunately Xenith fw is under maintenance and therefore you cannot download it for free from Wyse. But if you have maintenance, download it and update the unit.
THere is a “First steps” document in the Porducts-Wyse Thin OS section with should help you upgrading your units.

Thanks but I just cannot get a straightforward detail of how the firmware upgrade is done. I’ve got XENITH_C00_xen_1.7.zip and I would ideally like to use WDM to deploy it, but I can’t find any details on how to deploy it full stop. Have checked the Fitrst Steps doc.

If you have checked the First steps doc then you should be aware of that you simply drop the extracted firmware file inthe wnos folder and reboot the client.
    It will directly update itself.
WDM is not an option for imaging.
