I created the following problem. The server with wdm 4.8 was a test server on windows 2003 and was placed in the same subnet as the wyse clients (r90l). Everything worked well. Now i setup a new server 2008r2 with a fresh install of wdm 4.8. This server is placed in the server subnet. Now the devices won’t show up on the device manager. When i add them manually i could reboot, execute get image enz. When i perform a get image now the client won’t reboot automatic and no information pops up. When i set roll to boot en do a reboot from wdm the client go imaging. I test the web service and i am able to connect the server from the client (date time). Dhcp scopes are ok dns set up as in the troubleshoutingguide. The problem is that the clients are on dhcp so the ip numbers can change. Do any of you have a idea ?
Maybe there is some firewall or routing issue.
Change the Logging level in the WDM Configuration Manager to debug, reboot the client and check the logging if there is some hint that the client tries to check in.
If not, take a network trace and analyse that one.
😳 After a long shearch i found out that my agents where a littlebit old so i updated a agent on a client reboot it en there it was !
So now i must update the clients (50) with the new hagent by hand. 🙁
