Hi,
Whilst I investigate possible firmware upgrades via FTP, can anyone advise how I can fix t50 devices not checking in to WDM?
Some have not checked in for almost 9 months, I can ping the t50 from the WDM, and the user can access everything etc. A reboot of the t50 makes no difference either.
Since the device shows as RED in WDM, since it missed its checkin, I cannot push a new firmware down, and need to do so via USB, I have about 30 devices with this issue, and 100 total, so locating the 30 will be a real issue for me.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Are you using DHCP option tag 186/192 to push out the WDM Server address and port?
Which WDM version? Hotfixes installed? Which T50 firmware?
CG
Hi,
yes i am using options on the dhcp server,
we are running ver 018 on the t50 and wdm 4.9.0.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
4.9.0 is much to old.
You would need 4.9.1 to get T50 support.
CG
so i should look at upgrading the wdm to ver 4.9.1?
i dont see any documentation saying 4.9.0 and t50 are not supported though.
i will need some time to plan this upgrade.
thanks
