No idea but when I hit this I start with dependency walker or process explorer on the PC to see what requirements are needed by the software. These are free tools on the Internet to use. Fixing these problems can be tough and requires a good knowledge of windows. It can be as simple as adding a file sometimes but finding the issue can be tough,
Daemon tools installs but SPTD (SCSI Pass Through Direct) Will not install no matter what I do.
What kind of error messages do you get? Does your thin client have enough RAM to extract the contents of the installer into the temp folder? A lot of the v90’s only have 256MB which goes really fast if you are installing software. sometimes installers will just quit for no apparent reason and it’s usually a RAM thing.
Have you tried universal extractor to expand the installer into a bunch of smaller packages? If you do this you may not have to worry about running out of RAM.
